The fact that the Destiny 2 Beta happening next week includes the opening mission that deals with the destruction of The Tower, shows how much focus is being placed on story this time around. One of the main criticisms with the first game, was the overall lack of a narrative. Or, any semblance of understanding what was happening. In a new Bungie interview over at IGN the developers open up about the shift this time around. And how "there is story everywhere".

A weird cult, drug-induced hallucinations, and using a black light to explore neon lit environments. By the looks of it, Mafia III's final bit of story-based DLC 'Sign of the Times' sounds like something you'd might find in one of the Batman Arkham games -- filtered through the '60s counter-culture and deep south aesthetic of Mafia III.

In a new video showcasing a battle between the High Elves and the Lizardmen we get to see some the work gone into the new races and units in Total War: Warhammer 2. And as expected the High Elves look especially cool, with all sorts of great little armour flourishes. Plus, the added awesome of giant ice and fire birds.

As in that's the launch date. Ahem. As the sequel to the popular sandbox prison-escape game, The Escapists 2 introduces up to four-player drop-in/drop-out co-op, in addition to a number of new features. Like pesky guard dogs, a bunch of new ways to escape, new combat and crafting options, and both an ice and orbital space prison.

After spending a few weeks with the new Necromancer class for Diablo III we've put together what might just be one of the most powerful builds in the game. Using the Grace of Inarius set and a few underused legendary gems, this is one build that can not only deal out quite a bit of damage but also take a beating.

Which occurred right after the closing moments of the annual Steam Summer Sale on July 6. As per the report by Dot Esports, the Valve Anti-Cheat or VAC system identified a huge number of accounts which players create to test out cheats for games like Dota 2 and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. Where, naturally the guise of a sale is a more affordable way to cheat.
