With all of these Triple A releases dropping into retail space, someone forgot to tell the videogames industry we still need a healthy dose of news.

But, everyone's either too busy hiding under a rock or in a fallout shelter to avoid the Modern Warfare 2 shrapnel to really give us anything to sink our teeth into, though in saying that, there was still more than enough to keep us in the job. And besides, the games keep piling up here at AusGamers so while the news might be slowing, at least the reviews are ramping up. Anyway, let's get on with it.

In the Headlines
Disney and Bruckheimer finally gave us a glimpse at the Prince of Persia movie (and it's not looking too shabby, actually), the Left 4 Dead 2 demo opened up for all, Chinese World of WarCraft players were dealing with a potential shut-down, more information came from the iiNet lawsuit, a Mass Effect 2 Special Edition release was announced, id's John Carmack added more fuel to the recent peer-to-peer vs dedicated server model for PC multiplayer and a demo for Torchlight demo was made available (which can be nabbed locally from AusGamers).

Video we highly recommendFrom the editorial side of things, we hit up a few reviews this week including Torchlight, GTA 4: Episodes From Liberty City (The Ballad of Gay Tony) and DJ Hero.

That's it for us for another week. Next week proves to be a big one for game releases, which is saying a lot coming off a week with the likes of Modern Warfare 2 and New Super Mario Bros. Wii, here's hoping we'll see some big headlines, too.
