Ubisoft has announced The Settlers: Kingdoms of Anteria, the next title in the very long running strategy series from German studio Blue Byte.

There's not a whole lot of info about the game accompanying the announcement, just a cinematic trailer and a brief comment from a chief developer:
The Settlers - Kingdoms of Anteria will provide a completely new game experience by combining city building and real time strategy action. You will build up a prosperous economy and lead your champion through dangerous adventures in order to create a wealthy, bustling and glorious kingdom

“By reinventing our approach to the franchise, The Settlers - Kingdoms of Anteria offers players a brand new experience full of new possibilities to explore,” said Christopher Schmitz, Director of Product Development at Blue Byte. “Without a doubt, this is the most innovative Settlers’ game we have ever created.”
Release platforms were also not confirmed in the announcement, but given that every other game in the series has been on PC, it's probably safe to assume Windows and Mac as a starting point.
