Bohemia Interactive has announced the release date for its upcoming tactical military shooter, Arma 3, putting it square in the sights for September 12 for PC.
Benefiting from the splendid support of Alpha and Beta participants, Arma 3 ships with the large open terrains of ‘Altis’ (270 km²) and ‘Stratis’ (20 km²), 12 singleplayer showcases, 3 faction showcases, 9 multiplayer scenarios, 10 firing drill challenges, more than 20 vehicles and 40 weapons, 5 factions, the scenario editor and modding support. The Arma 3 singleplayer campaign will be released across 3 free DLC episodes after launch.
Those who may want to know exactly when the game will go live, Bohemia has released a countdown timer on the
official website, which also includes a complete rundown of all the content that will be available upon launch.
If you are like me and couldn't wait until the official release date to get your hands on ArmA 3, Bohemia has been nice enough to offer the previous alpha and now beta versions of the game on Steam for early access. Prices are $44.99 for the regular version of ArmA 3 and $59.99 for the Digital Deluxe Edition.
