In their most
recent podcast, BioWare revealed that the long-awaited PS3 version of
Mass Effect 2 was actually running on their modified Unreal Engine 3, created for
Mass Effect 3.
"We actually created the engine for Mass Effect 3 and used that to make Mass Effect 2 on PS3," revealed Jesse Houston, producer for the PS3 version of the game. "So we took the content, the story, and all of the other assets that made up Mass Effect 2, and we put it into the Mass Effect 3 engine."
The podcast also reveals the PS3 version will have revamped controls, and that a demo will be released on the PlayStation Network on December 21, ahead of the game's release January 21.

It's like GT5 being dodge and transferring all the standard car textures over from the older games which look s***.

Agree with the fact ME1 had a tonne of useless stuff you pick up. ME2 completely tossed that out the window. I would have liked to pick up extra armour pieces, maybe different cam patterns or ammo mods while on missions.

If they ever do a another shooter type RPG or even just a shooter in the ME world I would like them to bring back ammo mods. And the weapon cool down system combined with their new ammo ... ah I mean new heatsink idea.
