We have yet another fighting game for all the would-be Street Fighter heroes out there, only this one is devoid of any Capcom love.

It also happens to have one of the silliest names in gaming, but thankfully its inner workings more than make up for it with our resident fighting game lover, Chad Drake, taking it for a serious road-test and walking away humming crazy Japanese-inspired fighting tunes under his breath with a smile on his face. It may not be for everyone, but has solid mechanics, an insane presentation and some of the best animation this side of 2D gaming.

Bloody great game. I got it on the PS3. Very true that mashers don't stand a chance at this game. Also because of it's high levels of awesomeness and win, enjoy the following video of Mike_Z (who did a bloody hilarious commentary on the bonus disc for Tager) crushing someone...

Can't wait for Continuum Shift to come out this year, Calamity Trigger was awesome.
