Halo The Series is set to debut on the Paramount+ streaming platform next year, and will focus on the "epic 26th-century conflict between humanity and an alien threat known as the Covenant". So yeah, it's definitely closely tied to the iconic videogame series. As part of The Game Awards we got our first look at the new Halo series.

In terms of scope it look huge, no doubt a major production up there with some of TVs biggest in recent years. Check it out.



An yep, it's got the Master Chief. With the cast including Pablo Schreiber (Master Chief, John-117), Natascha McElhone (Dr. Halsey), Jen Taylor (Cortana), Bokeem Woodbine (Soren-066), and more. Nice to see Jen Taylor, who voices Cortana in the games, make the jump to the new series.

The timing is perfect too, with the release of Halo Infinite proving to be both a hit with fans and critics alike -- us included.
