In a sheer sign of more sense than money, but why not because you can, Microsoft has celebrated the release and critical success of Forza Horizon 5 by dropping a Polaris off road buggy from a chopper in an attempt to capture the magic of the game's opening moments. And the results are just as you'd expect.

That is, a car being dropped out of a chopper with all the safety requirements in check, which means there was no driver until it was safe to jump in after a successful landing.
“We know Australian and New Zealand fans have a deep love for car culture and have supported the Forza franchise for years," said Tania Chee, Xbox business lead for both regions. "And we’ve celebrated them through initiatives like our Forza Horizon 4 Drive-In experience, or by bringing the iconic Panorama Bathurst track in-game for Forza Motorsport 5.

“As one of the most anticipated releases of 2021, we knew we had to reach for the sky for Forza Horizon 5 to create our most exciting stunt yet”.
Of course, you can hit the link above for our in-depth review of the game, or learn more from the devs themselves with our more recent PC-centric Playground Games interview. But we all know you're here to watch the stunt in action -- check it out embedded below.
