Call of the Sea was one of the very first games featured in the first Xbox Series X gameplay event from earlier this year - a lush island adventure with an art-style and feel that's one part Sea of Thieves one part LucasArts. With its release now set for December 8, where it will also hit Xbox Game Pass, the latest trailer sets the scene for an "otherworldly tale of mystery".

Check it out.

Call of the Sea is a first-person adventure puzzle game set in the 1930s that tells the story of Norah, a woman on the trail of her missing husband’s expedition. The search takes place on a strange but beautiful island in the South Pacific, filled with secrets waiting to be unearthed. It is an otherworldly tale of mystery, adventure, and self-discovery.

In terms of next-gen enhancements, Call of the Sea will feature enhanced visuals and a 120fps mode. It will also debut on PC.
