As per the announcement from last week, at the upcoming all-digital DC FanDome event we can expect to see "new announcements from WB Games". As in plural, as in Gotham Knights and Suicide Squad - via newly-registered domains discovered by a ResetEra user.

The exact domains in question are: suicidesquadgame, gothamknightsgame, and suicidesquadkillthejusticleague. All registered an held by the same company behind wbgames.com. The latter of course being the weirdest of the three. In terms of what, WB Montreal has been long-rumoured to be working on the next Batman game (the studio has even teased something to this effect) so its next project could be Gotham Knights. Which might leave Suicide Squad as the next game from Rocksteady - its first since completing the Batman Arkham trilogy in 2015.

No doubt getting to see two DC-related titles in August will be very cool, especially if they're being positioned as next-gen releases. With a title like Gotham Knights it kind of sounds like a co-op game starring the extended Batman family of heroes and villains. Also if Suicide Squad is the next Rocksteady jam it could very well be the studio's first big foray into co-op. At the very least it'll be a lot more interesting than the film.
