On December 3 They Are Billions on PS4 and Xbox One is getting a major update, bringing the massive campaign mode found in the PC release. A free update to those who purchased the game it introduces 48 story missions across a 60-hour strategic zombia-slaying survival RTS epic.

The update also brings with it several gamepad controls tweaks and improvements based on player feedback in addition to an easier to access contextual quick-help system.

When we reviewed the game when it made its Xbox One debut earlier this year (and played it using the excellent Razer Turret for Xbox One), it was the pre-campaign version we played. Even so, we wrote, "When viewed in the guise of a single mode, They Are Billions offers up a brilliant and thoughtful and tense strategic experience. One that stands out and feels almost timeless. Even if you ultimately fail to survive, the experience still feels, well, complete."

So yeah, we're keen to check out how the campaign feels on console.
