Stay tuned for our full review later in the week, but in the meantime be sure to check out the launch trailer for No Code and Devolver Digital's brilliant new sci-fi thriller Observation. A truly immersive experience where you're in direct control of a space station's AI (think HAL from 2001) as you attempt to help Dr. Emma Fisher and figure out what happened to the crew.

With shades of 2001: A Space Odyssey alongside a presentation that amplifies the tension, Observation is a narrative-focused experience where puzzles and obstacles involve taking direct control of cameras, systems, and going through several diagnostic tests. Although that may sound a little tame, the end result is anything but - and so far our time with Observation has us firmly in the camp of this being one of the best bits of sci-fi fiction we've seen all year.

Observation is available now on PlayStation 4 and PC via the Epic Games Store for AUD $30.95.
