From Devolver Digital and developers Gabe Cuzzillo, Matt Boch, and Bennett Foddy - Ape Out is one of those games that once you see in motion immediately grabs your attention. As a Planet of the Apes super-fan (and we're talking original films, Simpsons parodies, and the recent and excellent trilogy) Ape Out looks wonderful. Stylish and full of raw energy.

With a description that's just about perfect.

Ape Out is a wildly intense and colorfully stylized smash ‘em up about primal escape, rhythmic violence, and frenetic jazz. Build up nearly unstoppable momentum and use your captors as both weapons and shields to crush everyone on your procedurally generated path to freedom.

The music itself, is also touted as being procedural and reacting to the carnage. Ape Out is out for Nintendo Switch and PC on February 28.
