In that it makes the climatic battle of the arguably woeful Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones set on the planet with flying bugs - look good. Great even, thanks to DICE's exceptional technical work with the Star Ware universe. Geonosis and all of the flashing purples and greens and reds of Episode II have never looked better.

Check it out.

And for reference, here's the Geonosis battle from Attack of the Clones. Which with dated CGI, looks worse. With one of the reasons being that Episode II was one of the first movies shot entirely digital - at 1080p.

The update will be free to all players when it launches next week on Noemer 28, with new hero Obi-Wan Kenobi available via in-game credits. For more on the update be sure to check out this fascinating behind the scenes look at the work put in to recreate the new setting.
