A news story combining the free offerings available for both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One next month? Yeah, consider this the first step towards console parity and a harmonious existence for the entire human race. Or, simply a way to knock out two stories about the same thing. That's right, the free games coming in June for PlayStation Plus and Xbox Live Gold subscribers. With both consoles getting some great stuff.

PlayStation Plus owners will be getting Life is Strange and Killing Floor 2 for PlayStation 4. And for anyone that has yet to play Life is Strange, that's a definite boon. As it just about out-Telltales Telltale in the narrative department.

Xbox Live Gold subscribers can look forward to Speedrunners and Watch Dogs for Xbox One, and Assassin's Creed III and Dragon Age: Origins for Xbox 360 (playable via backwards compatibility). Games that you've probably played, but might just fire up again after the announcement of new entries in certain franchises at E3 next month.
