And, it still feels like we're being shortchanged. Sure, it certainly looks impressive, and the visuals are very much in the style of series. And the planetary locations and character designs are all very sci-fi, but it just seems like we've been waiting quite a while now to see a proper demonstration of how the game would, you know, "play".

Nonetheless, this is an impressive (if summer blockbuster movie-style) trailer.

Take the role of the Pathfinder, leading humanity's search for a new home in this unexplored and unforgiving region of space. You'll chart your own course, navigating the Andromeda galaxy to unravel its mysteries, discover vivid alien worlds, and lead the charge to find the human race a new home among the stars. You'll be able to upgrade and customize your gameplay experience with a deep and flexible progression system, and lead your squad into action-packed combat using advanced weaponry, special abilities, and more than a few new tricks.

More is expected in December, and although a release date wasn't set we can expect Andromeda to launch Autumn 2017.

In other Mass Effect news, both Mass Effect 2 and Mass Effecr 3 have been added to the Xbox One Backwards Compatibility list.

Asif I didn't already have enough to play on the burner. It's going to take years to play and finish everything I want to -- both released already and on the horizon. This I will definitely play though

Tell me about it Steve, I only just started playing The Witcher 3, lol.

Looks cool. I hope they do a remastered 1, 2 and 3 collection.
