Hard Reset from Flying Wild Hog (of Shadow Warrior reboot fame) originally came out on PC in 2011. Like Shadow Warrior it was a fast-pased first-person shooter, with a clear focus on action and destruction. It was pretty good, and here at Ausgamers we enjoyed it when it first came out. Now the title is getting a Redux, with improved visuals and additional gameplay, as it gears up for a re-release on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.

One of the new additions which the announcement trailer demonstrates is the introduction of melee cyber-swords. Although they may seem a little out of place in the futuristic cyberpunk setting, they certainly suit the over-the-top nature of the action.
