When Warhammer 40,000: Eternal Crusade was first announced a few years back it was set to be another high-profile MMORPG, but this time one set in the Warhammer 40K universe. And just like a VCR from a couple of years ago, we fast-forward to today and the title is now a multiplayer third-person shooter being published by Bandai Namco. Albeit one given the unwieldy acronym of MMOTPS. And it's headed to both PC and console later this year.

In the game players choose from four factions in the Warhammer 40K universe and then duke it out to earn weapons, loot, and space credits across various PvP and PvE challenges. Developed by Behaviour Interactive the title has also just entered Steam Early Access.

Also, there's a new cinematic trailer which highlights the title's recent change to Unreal Engine 4. Plus, the simplicity of chainsaw swords.

I have looked around for a video that shows gameplay and found this.



Looks alright but I am not sure if game was laggy or it was just the video recording.
