Ubisoft is getting ready to release Assassin’s Creed Unity “patch 3” this week across all three platforms. Rollout will begin later this afternoon on Xbox One and PlayStation 4. PC users will receive it later this week.

This update includes eight categories of improvements, with PC users slated to get a number of fixes tailored to that platform. Included on the list are repairs to stability, including improvements in the area of “numerous random crashes” and frame rate.

Gameplay improvements address “haystack issues” as well as problems with players getting stuck. Matchmaking and online components also received some care in this update, though we'll have to wait until its live for whether the fixes truly worked. Full patch notes can be found over here.

Warn's not to accept early reviews yet leaves the taste of the last two releases in our mouth. Oh well ill end up playing it anyway due to no other decent racing games of late.
