Activision's latest revision of their yearly Call of Duty series has offered up a new seven-minute video preview of their multiplayer gameplay, showing us just how 'advanced' the combat will be in Advanced Warfare.

With the futuristic exoskeleton being the main play point in the new title, players can expect the battlefield to change somewhat from the more simplistic multiplayer of past. Now players will have the chance to dash, double-jump and power stomp their enemies into the ground, meaning you'll need to be watching not just in front but also above.

However, that is just one aspect of the new multiplayer, with developer Sledgehammer Games taking a good look at customisation as well in the preview below. From various cosmetic options to weapons and exosuit loot drops through to the refined "Pick 13" loadout system, it's quite a lot to take in. Of course it wouldn't be a Call of Duty multiplayer preview if there weren't some hints to the game's maps and modes, one of which being Uplink which seems to be more a sport than a team-based deathmatch.

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare will be hitting PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One and Xbox 360 come November 4th.
