Prepare your friendships as Paradox Interactive has announced the next title in their Magicka series, Magicka 2, where friends will fight with friends instead of fighting their enemies.

Magicka 2's details are still in the unknown stage right now, though the official site explains that the game will feature its iconic four-player co-op, complete with friendly fire enabled to make it far more interesting than just four guys in wizard robes. Speaking of wizard robes, Magicka 2 is also bringing a wardrobe full of robes, plus new staves and weapons for players to put to use.

The game will also introduce new 'Artifacts' which “act as different switches and options for players to customize and change the gameplay experience, adding more replayability when utilized.” Definitely sounds like Paradox are looking to add even more level customisation to the game, and one we are happy to see in action.
