The wacky Goat Simulator will soon be receiving its long-awaited split-screen multiplayer come June 3rd, according to an announcement from developer Coffee Stain Studios made on Twitter and Facebook. The update was scheduled for release mid-May but was delayed for further testing

The update will include a new playable map, local split-screen multiplayer that allows up to four goats to play at the same time, goat wall-running, the ability to balance your goat on its front legs, the ability to ride bicycles and skateboards and to force humans to ride your goat. The update will also include new playable goats. And a penguin.

“We realise we said we'd release the patch in May, but we really wanted to shock players and make sure the new map will be even better than the old one, so we had to push forth the release date a week or so than we originally intended. With June 3rd as a release date, the new map is gonna be so awesome, and I’m not just saying that cause I’m working on the game.”
