As part of Apple's
iPhone 5S event in California overnight, Epic Games and ChAIR Entertainment revealed Infinity Blade III, the successful mobile franchise that is once again being used to showcase the extra grunt of Apples latest smartphone processors.
Available exclusively on the App Store, Infinity Blade III leverages the unprecedented power of Apple's new A7 chip with 64-bit architecture and OpenGL ES 3.0 to once again completely redefine the boundaries of mobile gaming.
Powered by Unreal Engine technology, Infinity Blade III delivers an epic conclusion to the award-winning series with a thrilling story of honor, love, betrayal, and redemption. For the first time in franchise history, gamers play as both legendary hero Siris, and the stealthy female warrior-thief, Isa, each with unique combat styles and hundreds of collectable weapons and items. Another new addition is The Hideout, which serves as the player’s base of operations where they discover the interactive world map and unlock all-new allies to join their cause.
In the ultimate touchscreen experience, players attack opponents, dodge enemy advances, cast powerful magic, and explore eight expansive new worlds - all with a swipe of the finger. Through a dynamic single-player campaign, gamers explore multiple paths as they battle to defeat the Worker of Secrets and dozens of new enemies, including a ferocious, flying dragon.
Due on September 18th 2013, Infinity Blade III is designed to run on all iPhone hardware as far back as the iPhone 4, iPad 2, and iPod touch 4, will be priced at US$6.99, and the purchase will include the animated short film Infinty Blade: Origins.
