Like most big-budget action games these days, the characters in the upcoming Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag are brought to life by talented actors, not just in voice, but in the motion-capture studio as well.

The latest promotional video from Ubisoft goes behind the scenes with three prominent members of the game's cast, to talk about the personality and relationships of their characters. The trio of actors -- Matt Ryan as protagonist Edward Kenway, Mark Bonnar as Blackbeard, and Ralph Ineson as Charles Vane -- might be recognisable to those well-versed in UK TV programming.

Watch the clip below. Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag is due on October 31st 2013 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Wii U, with PC to follow in November, and PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions also in production.

Clearly passed the point all AC games marketing reaches. Where you've seen so many videos and previews that you just want the game and each new one becomes more annoying.
