A new Facebook post from Nintendo's official social page (thanks IGN) has revealed the upcoming launch list for their Virtual Console software, set to hit the Wii U sometime this week.
  • Balloon Fight (NES)
  • Donkey Kong, Jr. (NES)
  • Excitebike (NES)
  • F-Zero (SNES)
  • Ice Climber (NES)
  • Kirby’s Adventure (NES)
  • Punch-Out!! (NES)
  • Super Mario World (SNES)
  • Alongside the launch reveal, Nintendo also announced last week during their Direct Conference that other titles like Super Metroid will be joining the list but also several Nintendo 64 and Game Boy Advance games at a later stage. Nintendo has also confirmed that EarthBound will be making its way to the Virtual Console later this year. Check out the sizzle reel below.

Wii U's Virtual Console has added save states and customisable controls, so it's pretty good for legal emulation.
