The formerly Xbox 360-exclusive downloadable XBLA title, Castle Crashers from developer The Behemoth, will be making its Sony debut via the PlayStation Network for the PlayStation 3.

Due to arrive on August 31 in the US, Canada and Mexico (no Aussie street date yet, but we're fishing), the game will set you back around $15-$20 (we don't have an official AU price yet, either), and is apparent upgraded for the PS3. Exactly what is upgraded though, is still unknown. So now that it's on Xbox 360 and PS3, how long before it hits Steam?

Stay tuned for local release info as soon as we have it.

They've added a teams option to the Arena mode, and let you play volleyball as a minigame.
