Microsoft has finally caught up with the times here in Australia, offering up two new TV services for Xbox Live with the addition of both ABC's iView and SBS On Demand.
Commenting on the announcement, David McLean, Consumer Channels Group Lead, Microsoft said: “We have seen success with FOXTEL on Xbox 360 to date with more than 215,000 downloads of the application and expect that Australians will welcome the additional content that ABC iview and SBS ON DEMAND brings. Couple that with the unique experience that comes with Kinect through the wave of a hand and soon to be voice command, we are creating brand new ways for people to interact with their entertainment.
This announcement also comes off the back of a global announcement from Microsoft revealing some 40 new entertainment partners joining in on the Xbox Live service, including YouTube, Crackle and The Daily Motion

i bloody hope so. would seem crazy to charge for it when it's free on PC. maybe they'll make you have a gold membership though.

about time they started adding things, my 360 is starting to feel dated.

lol crazy, considering they were launched with already out-dated hardware like 6 years ago, they've been dated for a very very long time.
