What is a torrent?
'Torrents' refers to a distribution method and software application called BitTorrent. You can find out more information about how it works from the official site, http://www.bittorrent.com, but basically it is a peer-to-peer download system. This means that while you are downloading a file using BitTorrent, you're simultaneously uploading it to other users.
Not only does BitTorrent offer good download speeds (especially for our international users), it can also be used to repair corrupted downloads - instead of having to re-download the entire file, you only need to download the segments of the file that are corrupt or missing.
What do I need to download torrents?
All you need is a BitTorrent client - we recommend uTorrent, a fast, lightweight Windows client. There are many others - check your favourite search engine for more.
