So a while back i asked what phone to buy. Nexus 4 was the winner but i was too slow to buy the 8gb @ $250 plus postage. AFAIK it has been discontinued.
The Nexus 4 16gb is $300 plus postage and ships immediately or the Nexus 5 16gb is $400 plus postage but ships in a few weeks. I have the cash now and my current phone is all but f***ed so i need a replacement ASAP. Im thinking i save the cash and delay and go the Nexus 4. Plus considering im still rocking iphone 1, im sure i will be amazed with the Nexus 4's specs and dont need the latest and greatest Nexus 5. Thoughts / comments? Thanks. |
buy nexus 4
invest extra $100 in shares in cellularsolutions |
Where you buying the nexus 4? I can't even see them on the play store anymore.
But yeah if you're coming from a iphone 1, i think the specs of the N5 will be lost on you. |
Weird, that link works, but I can't navigate to it normally. Be funny if they just lock out people who have bought a N5 and figured to just take the choice away from me in case i also want to buy a N4.

Yeah but its been out of stock for a week or so and a quick search online said that stock wasnt coming back. Otherwise id be getting that as 8gb for me is f***loads. |
I'd wait. Purely because I like the latest n greatest.
If you buy the 4 then all your friends start rocking the 5 you'll be pissed. |
They're both awesome phones. I really only upgraded from the 8GB n4 to 32GB n5 because I wanted the extra storage space. The faster processing and screen res are nice, but not a huge benefit for any of the software I'm running. LTE/4G connectivity would be a big plus for some people, but I'm happy with a cheapy 3G plan still anyway.
Should be plenty of secondhand options for nexus 4s if you're still keen, as lots of peeps would have done the upgraded and only just getting around to ebay'ing their old devices now (I will be some time in the next few weeks). |
get the n5 if you can
don't obsess over it too much or pretty soon you'll have a gadget stack a metre high of different makes and models and you might start buying Apple products |
