That was their last and only tour down under. I don't think there will be an obligatory world tour with a new album. Here's hoping they return but there's probably more chance of a new Avalanches album being released before daft punk return here. At least we're getting new music!

I reckon they'll perform. You'd have to be pretty dedicated to go a tiny town in the middle of nowhere just for an album launch, so I reckon they're pulling a trick and will reward those dedicated fans. /faceman |

Phooks, I bet they don't even come to Australia.
How would you know anyway? They wear costumes, they might just be dialing s*** in from France. There is such a massive disconnect between electronic musicians and their live performances. I'm yet to find a dance music act where their live interaction enhances the performance in any tangible way. Not to say that I didn't enjoy the last Daft Punk tour, s*** was crazy. |

Phoenix finished and no Daft Punk so I guess it was just a troll. I have no idea who Phoenix (or anyone in this festival) is but I watched the last part of their set simply because DP was apparantly going to come out.
