Accompanying the launch of a newly designed official website, ATLUS the North American publisher for the upcoming Game of Thrones RPG have released a new trailer showing some in-game visuals.
Narrated by Lord Commander Jeor Mormont of the Night's Watch -- voiced by series star James Cosmo, who also lent his likeness to the game -- the new trailer ("The Wall") introduces viewers to the bitter cold and solitude of the massive barrier of ice that stretches across the northern border of the Seven Kingdoms, protecting it from the wild lands beyond. Each member of the Night's Watch, the order of black-garbed soldiers tasked with patrolling and guarding The Wall, must swear a solemn, life-long oath to the order, one punishable by death should it be broken. The trailer offers ample evidence of the game's dedication to authenticity and to properly capturing the grit and drama the beloved fantasy series is famous for.Watch the embedded trailer below or click here for the HD video page. Game of Thrones (not to be confused with the recently released Game of Thrones: Genesis RTS) is being developed by France's Cyanide Studios, known for the Pro Cycling Manager games, and is due on PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in "early 2012" |
I know it's a trailer, it looks like it could be rather plain for an rpg.
