Whats your opinion on this game? Is it worth the 80 bucks?

I liked it a lot when I first started playing, but after 20 hours or so I couldn't justify playing it anymore to gain items/quests that didn't do anything for me IRL. I stepped outside, picked up a sport, hit the gym more and spent more time at uni.
Hangon what was the question again? EIDT: Btw I found The Witcher (Enhanced Edition) much more fun. More swearing, violence, fighting while drunk .. banging chicks at every town, etc. I also stopped playing that due to lack of interest after ~25 hours. If you have $80 to blow, definitely The Witcher over Oblivion. last edited by parabol at 17:50:08 09/Jan/09 |
It's still $80? F*** paying that for a 3 year old game.

pfft, It's just Fallout 3 with swords.

$80? F*** no. I paid $90 when it came out 3 years ago and felt ripped off. I'll sell you mine for $50. Collectors Edition and everything. Perfect condition.

The great thing about all of bethesdas games are that you can mod them.
Played morrowind to death, got bored, mods gave me about 10-20 more hours of fun. Played oblivions main quest + fighters guild, got bored, modded and had fun until i finished mages+assassin+halfway through thieves. Can't stand fallout. The few mods it has out make it a tiny bit immersive (at night), but it's still just so... lame. To answer your question: yes. But mod it to get the most out of it. last edited by Phooks at 19:09:18 09/Jan/09 |
witcher > oblivion
oblivions leveling system pissed me off and completely killed its immersion factor it would have been better if some areas / crypts were too dangerous for lower levels |
