Another Spider-man game gone wrong through an utter mismanagement of the character, lore and history. One down, on to the next one...

A 50sqkm game-world with stunning visuals, unbelievable freedom and fire that spreads and destroys all in its path make Far Cry 2 a stand-out achievement for 2008 gaming. Is it too ambitious for its own good though, or does it balance everything just right?

Fracture applies terrain deformation as its main draw in a future where the United States has become divided into two warring factions. Unfortunately a laughable plot, bad design, an uninspiring multiplayer mode and the worst charcter name this side of Jospeh Turok leave very little to be desired here...

EA and DICE have done a commendable job of compacting the best parts of the popular Battlefield series and bundling it with an entertaining narrative.
