The second DLC pack to arrive for the ever-lasting (and expanding) Fallout 3, The Pitt, sends players out of the Capital Wastes and into the industrial world of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. A thriving world exists here with the same morally grey factions we've come to know and expect from the world of Fallout 3. Which side will you align yourself with...

MadWorld marries art, pop-culture, old-school gaming and absolute violence for an over-the-top product of sheer joy. This is gaming at it's most hardcore and on the Nintendo Wii, no less. If you consider yourself a gamer, do yourself a favour and pick this up...

Review by James Cottee @ 19th March, 2009
Patapon is unique. Part RTS, part rhythm action game, part one of those fruity Italian animations they used to play on the ABC in the 80s, it presents a game world that is stark, appealing, and utterly mesmerising...

Grand Theft Auto squeezes itself onto the Nintendo DS with stunningly awesome results. Solid gameplay, amazing technology (for the what it is) and all the GTA bells and whistles you'd expect make this arguably the best game on the system...

Will you survive?

Nintendo's renewed focus on GameCube classics revitalised to include Wii Remote motion control kicks off with the GameCube party offering, Mario Power Tennis. A fun title for the whole family that unfortunately offers very little in the way of challenge or depth. Other missed opportunities such as onliine play keep this title from maximising both the genre and platform...

Review by Steve Farrelly @ 10th March, 2009
Ensemble Studios' last title fleshes out the Halo Universe with stunning CG cut-scenes and a great narrative. It also competently lands on the anti-RTS platform in the form of the Xbox 360, but actually works quite well thanks to slightly minimilist design. A great game that does lack some depth, but doesn't necessarily suffer for it...

Street Fighter IV is great, there hasn't been a fighting game this enjoyable since the days of MegaDrive and Super Nintendo, when videogame Arcades were still a relevant platform outside of Japan.

The first DS installment of the legendary Fire Emblem series is a compelling turn-based strategy experience. From Intelligent Systems, the same developer that brought us Advance Wars, it brings a strategy classic up to date for Nintendo's current hand-held system, without forcing you to make use of any of its control gimmicks.

More than just an expansion, GTA IV: The Lost and Damned essentially gives you a whole new game to play, simply set in the same city as Niko Bellic's exploits from GTA IV. As Johnny, a member of The Lost MC, you're job is to "stick it to the man" while keeping your own club brothers in line, out of harm's way and most of all, alive! With an intense new story, more characters and new gameplay innovations, The Lost and Damned has set a benchmark for all DLC to come...

F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin continues the horrific tale of the tormented Alma and introduces players to Monolith's new protagonist, Michael Becket, another poor sap in the wrong squad at the wrong time. Combining the series' trademark horror and action sequences with the introduction of mech suits makes Project Origin an enjoyable romp, but there's still a heady list of faults to be found within...

Some serious development time has left Killzone 2 not only looking absolutely stunning, but also showing off the sheer power of the PS3 in the right hands. Modern FPS gaming comes wrapped alongside the splendid presentation with a few issues that probably should have been broached for the final product, but it doesn't stop the game from being a must-have for PS3 owners...
