Even if you haven't read the comics and you haven't seen the film and you have very little interest in doing either, you still want to download this game and play it. Trust me.

Mafia II is a very enjoyable experience for different reasons than most games, which should be a warning to those of you who don't really dig story in games, or lengthy narrative, or act as an invitation for gamers craving something more to bite their teeth into...

Instead of being a Diablo or 'insert action/RPG name here' clone, Deathspank stands as an awesome and humorous romp with plenty of great NPCs who all have a lot say. It offers all the weaponry, spells and items you would expect plus so much more, along with a great sense of exploration and wonder in a fully realised fantasy game-world...

Travellers Tales have mastered the LEGO formula, and the lightning-scarred boy wizard is great fodder for this recipe. Fans will love it, but if I see another LEGO stud this week, it will go in the fire.

The story itself screams B-Grade, is heavily scripted, and unflinchingly linear. The Russian accents are in turn comical and shameful, but the story of changing a catastrophic event (funnily enough a scientific Singularity ie black hole, ie totally preposterous) in the 1950s and re-writing the game's present across numerous botched attempts is well worth sticking through...
