Review by James Cottee @ 5th August, 2009
The Giana Sisters come to the most popular game system on the planet. 80s veterans will be relieved to know that this remake is every bit as good as the original, and brings fresh innovation to a beloved classic.

Review by Dan @ 28th July, 2009
Wii Sports Resort is a worthwhile purchase for anyone that loved the first Wii Sports - it's a fun party game and once again so simple, everyone can play. As disappointed as we are at what this game fails to include, it's hard to deny the fun you can still have with what is on offer. Solo gamers however, might want to exercise more caution.

Although it's difficult to comment on whether the changes and omissions will keep the game still feeling fresh in the months to come, one thing is certainly clear, as of now, Battlefield 1943 is brilliant fun.

Another typical eastern RPG that attempts to shift things up with a science-fiction foundation, but fails to ultimately grab the player on a narrative level. However, a solid battlle and levelling system will keep micro-managers and grinders coming back for more...

This game had the potential to be a new Fate of Atlantis, and if A2M had concentrated on making this a spruced up point and click adventure, with better puzzles and dropping the repetitive dodgy action elements, our score would have been much higher.

EA haven’t fiddled with this engrossing life simulator, well, simulator of a life where he with the most toys wins, rather than a life fulfilled by spiritual or knowledge expansion. Newcomers will find a game that engrosses, is hard to fault in polish, and will definitely suck up a significant portion of real-world life.

At face value, the new Monster Hunter has a lot in common with Fallout 3. It's awesome, for one thing, and set in a huge game-world that offers well over 100 hours of addictive gameplay. There's a staggering range of both ranged and melee weapons to choose from, all with specialised powers and perks...

The Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction and the Spider-man games; a sandbox free-roaming action title with a huge host of new character abilities the freedom of newIP allows. You are Alex Mercer, a victim of science experiments gone catastrophically wrong that have left you mutated with a host of superhuman powers and an unfortunate bout of memory loss.

Review by Steve Farrelly @ 27th May, 2009
inFAMOUS arrives as a PlayStation 3 exclusive that offers up a very mixed bag of gameplay wrought with frustration and fun. Unfortunately the latter comes in very small doses while the former reigns most of the experience supreme. Marred by dated visuals and unbelievably bad AI, inFAMOUS might actually be forgotten a lot sooner than its namesake would have you believe...

An unfortunate example of why the videogame movie license stigma still exists. How can such a revered, iconic cult universe be left behind so far in the world of videogames? The mind boggles and makes us think we deserve the impending apocalypse of the machines...
