Left 4 Dead as directed by Michael Bay, with near-constant attacks by charging aliens and specials that look and behave like Mac and Me-style E.T. knock-offs.

It’s a testament to the game’s quality that a second play-through less than a year after the original release still felt fun, fresh, and exciting.

It’s a shame that the two sides of The Spectrum Retreat don’t really come together, creating a cohesive narrative adventure filled with engaging puzzles to solve.

Playing something like God of War or Sea of Thieves with the GSP 500 not only offers up immersive audio but highlights the wonderful detail that both Rare and Sony Santa Monica put into the sound design and music. Which also means that for simply listening to music, or watching movies, the Sennheiser GSP 500 is a great choice – wonderful even.

Additionally, the new release does have some modern love in the form of levels lifted from Super Mario Odyssey, and while they’re more than welcome they also kind of represent a larger issue with this re-release. With Mario Kart 8, Super Mario Odyssey and the very fun Mario Tennis: Aces -- all of which include many Toad moments, Nintendo could have added in even an entire other Episode filled to the brim with new challenges and design concepts

A great choice for those looking to buy their first headset. Or if you’re simply in the market for an affordable yet quality audio solution you can take on the go without worrying too much about throwing it into a backpack.

Vampyr is an ambitious vampire saga, which has a ton of heart and flair that makes it a memorable journey, but is torn down by it’s lacklustre RPG elements and technical issues.

Unravel Two Review (Score: 6.8/10)

Review by Steve Farrelly @ 3rd July, 2018
Unravel is trying to do and be too many things at once without wholly expanding on what’s in front it all. And this is a point I brought up in my review of the first game. The puzzles are fun, it’s gorgeous and we love Yarny, but we don’t really care about what he’s doing or why he’s doing it. Unravel would be better served borrowing from the book of Super Meat Boy or the Trials series...

Crash Bandicoot can still be fun – but is far from essential. A visually impressive remake full of detail and polish for what is for the most part a painfully average platformer.

Review by KostaAndreadis @ 3rd July, 2018
The Crew 2 is an over-the-top and breathless arcade racer. One where you’ll never linger too long in one location or on one event, because the game itself is quick to offer you a dozen new places to visit and different types of vehicles to switch between.

Like a lot of its ultra-thin and small-form factor laptop competition, the new Razer Blade has the battery life to justify the increased screen size, GSYNC display, new CPU, and cutting-edge graphics.

There’s hours of gameplay across both Kingdom Battle and now Donkey Kong Adventure, if you haven’t already bought into this new franchise. And with the added capacity to take the game on-the-go as a portable gaming experience, the value for money and Nintendo Switch buy-in here, and with Nintendo’s other key exclusives, is starting to look harder and harder to resis...

SWITCH
Review by Steve Farrelly @ 27th June, 2018
With a solid roster of characters (and more yet to come), a robust online Tournament mode alongside Swing mode, the game is already pretty fun. The addition of a silly Adventure mode and extra trimmings and unlockables makes this a standout in the series and another great addition to the Switch’s growing library of Nintendo exclusives...

An exceptionally well-designed gaming laptop. ASUS has not only gone for a cool new visual re-design, but the narrow-bezel display, thinner and lighter form factor, and improved hardware under the lid all add up to something far more impressive than previous models.
