Pizza Tycoon is a classic PC game from 1994, where you were put in charge of a pizzeria (coming up with fancy new slices) that was part cooking game part business sim. But it also leaned into mob movie stereotypes, so there was a crime element that added a lot of fun. I have fond memories of playing it back in the day, so the news of this remake has made my day.

And the kicker, it's available now for Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One with a PS4, PS5, and Nintendo Switch release happening on February 23. Though it's worth pointing out that this is a renamed version of Pizza Connection 3, which is available on PC - so we're not sure what's changed. That game has a "Mixed" user review rating on Steam.

We’ve Got an Everything Pie with Extra Cheese: Create the pizza of your dreams with over 75 different ingredients. Mix and match to create innovative and groundbreaking pies!

My Pizzeria, Your Pizzeria: From the floor plan to the decor and everything in between, customize your pizza shop to match your exact needs. Whether full maximalist or modern minimalist, decide what kind of experience your guests will enjoy.

The 10 Steps of World Domination: Spread your brand across the world and adapt the diverse wants and needs of the people. Pizza is life, after all.

The Secret Ingredient is Crime: Ensure you stay at the top with just a sprinkle of bribery and a dash of sabotage. That might sound cheesy, but that's the point.

I'll be grabbing this one based on my memories of playing the original back in the day, and having to recreate pizzas without the game's manual (which doubled as copy protection). And hey, if it doesn't turn out to be a decent slice - there's still the option of playing the 1994 original directly from a web browser.
