One of the more surprising and welcome reveals at today's Nintendo Direct was the return of one of the great rhythm games, Samba De Amigo. Rhythm games have been making a bit of a steady comeback of late, and this newest iteration of the fan-favourite, titled, Samba De Amigo Party Central, finds a perfect home on Nintendo Switch.


Samba de Amigo has been reborn and is even groovier than ever! Get shakin’ to 40 hit songs from across the world’s most popular music genres and enter a visual party, with unique settings and fun, active gameplay.
Not much is known beyond what the video above showcases, but hey, it's a pretty simple setup so it's not like we need to pour over heavy details now, is it?!

With a very loose "summer 2023" (so winder for us) release window, expect the in the first half of this year. We'll update you as soon as we have more, but for now maybe buy some IRL maracas and get to practising that shake.
