Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp is the long-awaited remake of the classic Game Boy Advance turn-based strategy games for the Nintendo Switch. In fact, it was recently delayed to April 2022 due to reasons relating to the timing and real-world global conflict. As part of the latest Nintendo Direct that broadcast earlier today, we now have a new date - April 21, 2023.
Join Andy, Max, Sami and more in two full story campaigns, each one filled with colourful turn-based tactical action. Flex your strategic muscles across a multitude of modes. Design your own maps and share them with friends. You can also challenge friends to head-to-head battles online, or up to four players locally. Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp comes to Nintendo Switch on 21st April.
A remake featuring two GBA-era strategy classics - Advance Wars and Advance Wars 2: Black Hole Rising, this one looks very cool. Both campaigns are now fully voiced with cartoon-like animation for characters/commanders in and out of battle. Visually it retains the bright and colourful look of the GBA originals, albeit in 3D - and it all looks clean and vibrant.
