A launch trailer for Hogwarts Legacy has dropped ahead of the game's official release next week (Friday for Aussies). The new video highlights the game-world and its many different tasks and engagement opportunities as an enrolee in the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, as well as a look at its unique and impressive combat and spells and powers setup.

Hogwarts Legacy invites players to embark on an epic journey as a fifth-year student at Hogwarts, gifted with a rare ability to tap into ancient, powerful magic. Guided by the Wizard's Field Guide and unique instruction from professors and other characters, fans will uncover a compelling storyline filled with thrilling challenges and mysteries.

Faced with perilous dangers, players will defend Hogwarts against deadly enemies and uncover the secrets of the wizarding world's forgotten past.

The game has come under the microsope in its build up to release due to J.K. Rowling's remarks and apparent position on the trans community, with many outlets, creators and more refusing to give the game any air.

We intend to review the game, however, out of respect of the many creators involved in its development while maintaining no alignment with Rowling or her views.
