The Day Before has been making a lot of headlines recently, and not for reasons that the game looks good and fully earns its "most wish-listed game on Steam" credit. No, instead developer Fntastic has delayed the game to November after mysteriously removing the game from Steam, citing reasons of trademark disputes and Valve maintenance errors.
Not only that but as the studio's track record is spotty at best, people have been dissecting The Day Before gameplay and pointing out inconsistencies that point to it not actually being a real, playable thing. Things got even more strange when the game's community manager confirmed that they hadn't seen any The Day Before gameplay.
Today, the studio has dropped 'The Day Before — Official 10 Minutes Gameplay Trailer'. And sure, there are a lot of views on this one - but the game itself looks pretty empty and bland. Like The Division, but in a quickly put together in a couple of weeks form.
The sentiment is as expected, with comments on the gameplay like, "For a game that was previously meant to come out this month, this sure is a.......unique gameplay reveal", to "It feels like they put this in the last few days together like a late homework and just be happy to present something to the community," and "Best jogging simulator I've ever seen, can't wait for the next delay."
The Day Before is apparently coming out in November.
