The highly anticipated God of War Ragnarök launched in November 2022 for PS4 and PS5, where after its first week out in the wild it broke the sales record for a PlayStation Studios game with over 5 million copies sold. A new update from developer Santa Monica Studios now confirms the number has jumped to over 11 million copies.



Good thing it's a brilliant game to boot. Our review back at launched scored the game a 9/10, and it made our Top 10 Best Games of 2022 list, coming in at number two. And there's more coming, with a New Game+ mode set to debut in the coming months.
