"Live from PS5" is the slogan, which is meant to sound like a story lead-in from a news desk, which the freshly-released trailer after the jump will attest to. But more importantly than a new way to shout "hey, we're still here" is Sony's committal to PS5 unit availability, which is a global initiative.

A post over at the PlayStation Blog states that "if you’re looking to purchase a PS5 console, you should now have a much easier time finding one at retailers globally". We've reached out locally to suss an exact number, but failing an official reply this does seem like you'll have an easier time securing a machine, though there's no guarantee it'll be instant.

As with the video above, there's still plenty to celebrate with the PS5 with the DualSense Edge which released recently as well as the upcoming drop for PSVR2, though you might need to save some additional coins for that one. There's also word that GT7 players who do pick up the new VR unit will be able to grab the game as a free upgrade.
