Vampire Survivors is deceptively simple and impressively deep, a single-stick action game that blends elements from rogue-lites, action-RPGs, twin-stick shooters, and bullet-hell dodgers into a hard-to-put-down mix. It's available on Xbox Game Pass for PC and Console, and a mere AUD 6.36 on Steam.

The elevator pitch sums it up perfectly.
Vampire Survivors is a time survival game with minimalistic gameplay and roguelite elements. Hell is empty, the devils are here, and there's no place to run or hide. All you can do is survive as long as you can until death inevitably puts an end to your struggles. Gather gold in each run to buy upgrades and help the next survivor.

And there's a new 1.1.0 'Tiny Update' dropping tomorrow that includes a new level that takes place on a bridge, a new character, power-up, and more. Not so tiny after all. Check it out.

Now excuse me while I fire up a new run in anticipation. As this review on Steam puts it, "Meth would be easier to quit".
