Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 has had something of a troubled development, with the original studio Hardsuit Labs no longer working on the RPG. Key designers and writers have left the project, with Paradox Interactive shifting development to a still as-yet unannounced team. The good news is that the game looks to be back on track, with 2023 release not off the table.

In new interview over at Spanish publication Privata Affärer, Paradox Interactive CEO Fredrik Wester notes (translated), "We feel very good about Bloodlines 2 and we will probably be able to set a launch date for this game reasonably soon."

Adding, "We are incredibly pleased with what we have seen", and that a 2023 release for the highly anticipated game is "absolutely not impossible".
