To celebrate the release of Sonic Frontiers, local hardware modders TagMODS have combined Sonic the Hedgehog and Turtle Beach’s Recon Controller into something that doesn't look all that comfortable. But hey, that's probably the point - and as per the headline, there are many spiky points - and there are 20 up for grabs for Australians.

All you need to do is head to Turtle Beach's Australian Twitter page @Turtlebeach_AU and EB Games’ Instagram for your chance to win one of these... and yeah, those are Sonic's red shoes.

The controllers are, according to the press release, valued at AUD 470 each. With around 50 realistic hedgehog spikes, custom red-and-white “shoes”, these are also fully usable Recon Controllers.
