GeForce NOW is NVIDIA's cloud gaming service that lets you play the games you own on PC (from a huge list of supported titles), over the cloud with RTX On features enabled. With local ISP Pentanet handling hosting duties to ensure low latency today comes word of new subscription tiers, alongside some impressive stats.
Geforce NOW Powered by Pentanet now has over a quarter of a million active subscribers in Australia, which equates to more than 160 million minutes of game time. And with GeForce NOW available on multiple devices, including Smart TVs, it's a great way to jump into high-end PC gaming without building an expensive rig.
“Launching a high bandwidth, low latency cloud gaming service on Australia’s internet was no easy task," said Pentanet Managing Director Stephen Cornish. "It’s been fantastic to see hundreds of thousands of Aussie gamers joining GeForce NOW, and experiencing the power of NVIDIA GeForce gaming from the cloud. Plus we’re getting greater access to popular titles from gaming publishers which further shows support for GeForce NOW as the future of gaming. One year on, we’ve not only demonstrated that cloud gaming is possible but there’s a significant demand for it down under.”
And with that the new subscription tiers are as follows.
