With rumours swirling that NVIDIA is set to launch its next-gen GeForce RTX 40 series later this year (which would include the GeForce RTX 4090, RTX 4080, and so on), it's now teasing something called "Project Beyond". With a special GeForce Beyond broadcast opening the NVIDIA GTC 2022 conference featuring NVIDIA founder and CEO Jensen Huang.

It's scheduled to take place September 20, 8am Pacific Daylight Time - which is Wednesday, September 21 at 1am AEST. It'll stream live on Twitch and YouTube.

PC enthusiasts, don’t miss the GeForce Beyond special broadcast!

On September 20th, NVIDIA founder and CEO Jensen Huang will open his GTC 2022 keynote with our latest breakthroughs in gaming, creating, and graphics technology.

NVIDIA GTC is the world’s leading technology conference, where NVIDIA and its partners demonstrate how NVIDIA technologies help solve the world’s toughest computing, scientific and engineering challenges.

As per our breakdown of GTC 2022 (check that out here) the technology conference is traditionally more geared towards NVIDIA's industry-leading tech in AI, the Metaverse, with speakers from some of the biggest companies and players in these fields present.

But, this little teaser is pretty clear in its GeForce focus with a note that we're going to see the latest breakthroughs in gaming. The GeForce line-up levearges AI tech for its impressive DLSS rendering, so we might be seeing the next version of that (DLSS 3.0) alongside what that can deliver for games running on GeForce RTX 40 series hardware.

Stay tuned as we'll be watching this one closely.
