Running this week on Thursday, September 1 from 5pm to 9pm, Powerhouse Late: Gaming is a local gaming event, back by "popular demand", at Sydney's Powerhouse Museum in Ultimo, which this time around will also feature tabletop and CCG gaming by way of both Dungeons & Dragons and Magic: The Gathering.

Follow the link above for more info, but in short the schedule will include:
  • 5 - 9 pm: D&D with Curator Nina Earl
  • 5 - 9 pm: Magic: The Gathering, brought to you by MagNerds. Learn to play Commander and Standard formats
  • Talks with game developers from studios including Wargaming Sydney, Chaos Theory, and Minds at Play
  • A Fireside Chat featuring figureheads from the Australian games industry
  • A showcase of unreleased games designed and made by local developers in Sydney to be played and tested
  • Retro arcade
It's free to head along, and is a great initiative in an awesome venue that continually serves the Sydney higher geek community, and others ;).
