Voxel Doom is a new graphics mod for the original Doom that turns the original 2D sprite-based enemies into fully-3D models. Now, replacing enemies with 3D version might sound like a big departure but with voxels the result is enemies that still look and act like their 2D counterparts - except now in 3D.

It's impressive, and modder Cheello has pulled off some magic to make it still look every bit like the Doom of old. Check it out.

Created using GZDoom you can grab the mod now over at moddb.com.
